Questions: STAS - Rules transportation and fines
Can I take my pet on the bus and tram?
Pets are tolerated as an exception on buses and trams, as long as:
> they do not cause a nuisance to other passengers,
> their owner takes sole and entire responsibility for them,
> they do not occupy a seat under any circumstances,
> they are muzzled and held on a lead by an adult,
> small pets are carried in closed baskets,
> their owner pays for a ticket for them (except animals in baskets and guide dogs).
However, it is always up to STAS staff to decide whether or not to let an animal on board a bus or tram. In any case, dangerous dogs (category 1 "attack dogs") are prohibited.
Can I take my bike on the bus and tram?
Bikes are not allowed on the network, except on the trams on Sundays and public holidays, up to a limit of 4 per tram and as long they do not get in the way of other passengers. They must be parked on the platforms and not clutter up the aisles.
Motorised vehicles are completely prohibited in all STAS vehicles.
