How does NoctamBus work?

Noctambus is a bus service provided by Saint-Étienne serving all the main nightspots. The 2 Noctambus services run on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights  (except in July and August) with one bus guaranteed to leave every hour from midnight to 5 am inclusive. 

Certain areas are only served by the buses if you ask the driver on boarding the bus. 

• Blue route (N1): request stops only after the Terrasse stop in the direction of Montreynaud
• Red route (N2): request stops only for Cotonne, Montplaisir, Monthieu and Terrenoire. 

The buses stop at the stops in these areas only to allow passengers to alight.  

*The bus stops only if you ask the driver to stop.

- There is a connection between the two routes at the Dorian/Hôtel de Ville stop (stop on the M2 bus route - near the taxi rank). 

- Validation obligatory when boarding each bus. All STAS tickets and travel passes are valid on the Noctambus services. You can also buy a 1 hr 30 ticket on board the bus for €1.80.
