Handi'Stas is a transport service for people with reduced mobility and the visually impaired.

Special vehicles provide door-to-door travel within the Saint-Étienne Métropole area (excluding school, professional and healthcare trips).

New operating hours since 29 August 2022:

  • from Monday to Friday from 7 am to 11 pm
  • Saturdays from 8 am to 1 am
  • Sundays and public holidays (except 1 May) from 9 am to 6 pm

BOOK YOUR TRIP

You can book from 15 days in advance until 5 pm the day before your trip at the latest. For trips on a Monday, you will need to book on the Saturday at the latestFor evening trips after 7 pm, bookings must be made 3 working days in advance.

When booking, please mention if you will be accompanied.
The trip must be for a minimum distance of 500 metres.

Go to the chosen pickup point 10 minutes before the time you have booked.

The vehicle may come 5 minutes before or after the agreed time. The Handi'Stas service may group several people in the same vehicle if their trips allow it.

Cancellation

Cancellation must remain an exception and whenever possible should be made the day before the trip before 4 pm.

A €15 penalty will be charged for last-minute cancellations  (if the vehicles comes out for nothing).

Pricing

The service is available at all the STAS rates, including to holders of a €10 monthly pass.

The 1 hr 30 ticket is sold on board the vehicles but also in the network's different points of sale:

The person accompanying you travels free if your disability card is marked "needs to be accompanied".
